The Xenon-Eye camera

Xenon-Eye is an extraordinary hybrid camera that I completed in 2007. It combines a hacked digital scanner (to become a photographic plate) and a large format Victorian plate camera. I call its strange and unsettling images ‘xenographs’. Here is a small selection from the hundreds of xenographs I have taken since 2008.
